PFG Precision Optics was launched in 1977 when husband and wife, Don and Janet Green, daughter of Fred Ferson, established the company together with John Plummer of Plummer Precision Optics in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania.
In 1987, PFG acquired the facility at 733 Bienville Boulevard in Ocean Springs, Mississippi which it calls home today. This facility has more than 35,000 sq. ft. of production floor space, as well as office and maintenance shop space with ample land for future growth.
Throughout its history, PFG Optics has earned a reputation for delivering optical fabrication and coatings with exceptional quality and reliability. Today, PFG builds on that foundation through continuous improvement and the development of new capabilities, with a clear vision: to serve as the premier optical manufacturing partner to its customers.
